Prototech Contest
What is Prototech Contest?
Prototech Contest is a national-scale prototype innovation competition from The Sandbox by IEEE. With a theme of “Green Technology”, this competition focuses on delivering actual solutions to environmental problems through providing a platform for Indonesian youth to compete and develop their ideas with experts. This competition consists of ten stages, namely abstract submission, PTC semi-finalist announcement, technical mentoring by IEEE, idea pitching, introduction to professional mentor, PTC finalist announcement, professional mentor selection, prototyping weekly, progress report, and final pitching. Every senior high school and undergraduate student in Indonesia can join by assembling a team with 3–5 members.
Regulations
Every participant must follow every rule in The Sandbox by IEEE.
The team leader should fill out the registration of the Competition and upload all the requirements listed.
The Sandbox by IEEE prohibits plagiarism and highly honored originality.
Each team’s idea/solution should be solely the work of the team and has never been published anywhere before.
Each team can only submit their work once.
The committee of The Sandbox by IEEE will not provide refunds for those who are disqualified or quit for any reason.
The committee of The Sandbox by IEEE has the right to disqualify teams that commit any kinds of cheating and violation against the competition rules.
Committees have the right to take down the winning title if there is any kind of cheating or violation against the rules in the submitted work or during the competition process.
The jury’s decision is absolute and cannot be disturbed.
The change of Guidelines will be announced by the committee via Instagram or email.

Who can participate in the competition?
Prototech Contest is only open to undergraduate students. Each team consists of 3-5 members.
How long will the prototyping development process take?
The prototyping process will take around 1 month.
