The IEEE ITB Student Branch proudly presents The Sandbox 2.0, an annual event series dedicated to empowering youth in the fields of technological and business advancements. Building on the success of Sandbox 1.0, held in 2024 with the grand theme of “Green Technology,” Sandbox 2.0 takes a forward leap with the theme “Healthcare Technology.” This year’s event is structured to offer diverse, enriching experiences through a series of activities, including the Sandbox Webinar Series, two major competitions (ProtoTech Competition and Hack4Health), an Exhibition, and a combined Seminar & Social Night.

The Prototech Contest is a national-scale prototype innovation competition organized by organized by IEEE ITB SB, focusing on “HealthCare Technology”. Aimed at empowering Indonesian youth, the contest encourages participants to develop practical solutions for pressing healthcare challenges through a structured process that includes abstract submissions, technical mentoring, idea pitching, and prototyping. Teams of 3 to 5 undergraduate students from Indonesia can engage with industry experts and professional mentors to refine their ideas and create prototypes. The competition culminates in final pitching sessions where teams showcase their innovations to judges. By participating, students not only enhance their skills but also contribute to advancing healthcare solutions in their communities.
Hack4Health (H4H) is a national hackathon competition organized by IEEE ITB SB, focusing on technological innovation in healthcare. The competition aims to inspire and accelerate the development of technology-based solutions that create real, positive impacts on healthcare services. H4H consists of two main stages: a bi-weekly challenge and a hackday!. During the bi-weekly challenge, participants have access to mentors and conduct testing simultaneously. The competition invites undergraduate students from across Indonesia to form teams of 2 to 5 members, encouraging collaboration and creativity to develop innovative solutions that enhance the quality of healthcare services in the country.

Participants must be undergraduate students with an interest in technology and innovation. Teams should consist of 2-5 members.
